USAT Level I Triathlon Coach
USAC Level 3 Cycling Coach
As a runner and triathlete, I have placed in the top 3 in my age group in numerous races in the area. I have competed in Sprints, Olympic Distances and Half and Full Ironman distances, setting PR’s in each distance the past 2 years. I have learned the importance of a plan and following that plan to achieve results.
I am very aware of the questions, fears and doubts that come up when considering a triathlon or moving up to longer distances. After several years of racing without a coach, I signed up to use Fit2Tri and Richard in 2007 to prepare me for Ironman Florida. Having Rich as a coach for the past 2 years has erased all those questions, fears and doubts for me. I want to give you that same sense of security. I want you to go to a race feeling like you are completely prepared, excited and know just what to do: from what to wear, what to eat and drink, how to pace yourself for the race and all the other “silly” questions all triathlons have.
I have been coaching clients for the past 6 years and have helped them accomplish things they never thought possible. I have coached athletes ranging in age from 8-64 in a variety of distances. As an athlete myself, I know the importance of having someone on your team that believes in you. I am that person.
To toe the line at a race and KNOW you will finish it is what I can give to you, through a periodized training plan featuring workouts with a purpose that fit your lifestyle. I can offer you an individualized plan and the personal attention you deserve. I have loved the sport of triathlon from my very first race, and have grown to embrace it as my lifestyle, while still managing a busy family life.
There is a place for you in triathlon. Let me help you find it.
